Busy bee at "The Lazy Bee"
Good weekend. Needed it. We work like hell, and it looks like February will be more of that (I urgently need a little trip - my back's itching, the call of the back pack). I work on sundays as well, little stuff I don't find the tranquility for during the week. But saturday is always a day of sleeping in, driving around, taking pictures and usually a late party. I ended up in "9 Pound Hammer" (what a name !): a great bar downtown near Toon's place (helping with the move of a heavy table - Toon drunk as hell carrying it up the stairs: hilarious !). At the bar we got very soon involved in conversations with miners digging the tunnel nearby, Vietnam veterans digging on Thai hookers, and a guy named John repeating a million times how great the landing on the moon and Elvis Presley were. Afterwards up to Greenlake for Grant and Joey's double birthday party: nice people (interesting talks), good music, but no dancing. Americans somehow don't seem to feel the urge...(we gotta change that !). Back at 5am and skyped to Europe until I got really tired. Finally a party that makes it longer than 2 am ! I loved it. Plans for a nice table and workspace are approved...more about that soon. Week's starting, airplane to build. Grtz, S.
P.S. No new pic's this weekend. As this blog is all about me anyway (vanity, oh Lord !), I thought I just post an arty picture of myself, taken last week in Tacoma Art Museum.
