Has summer started in Seattle ?

With envy I listen to "heat wave" stories from Belgium, to reports from a "World Cup feverish" Europe, to sweat dripping from Oklahoma collegues' foreheads during weekly telecons...today finally mercury rose above 20°c, or 70°F as it is here.
My live is still controlled by firm deadlines building the 787, problems keep popping up, although I'm confident we'll get there...eventually. Plan is to get most of the parts released by the end of July, when my family comes and I join them for a trip to the South. In between a week of NYC and a business trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma, will re-activate my love for travelling, but you can imagine how busy I am trying to juggle all these different activities. Days are long, nights are short. And I wish I could stretch time "Dali-wise", but optimism rules and my head, as usual, bounds with ideas and plans. Today, I went out for a walk and bumped into the Fremont
fair "Solstice Parade". Very colorful, high hippie-ish, summer music tunes, but no cool beer to give it that final touch.
It also remembered me how fun it is to take pictures, I'm looking forward to my travels as my right index is itching again...
